Thoughts about Choosing a First Aid Provider

Over the last few months there have been lots of reports of first aid providers not being accredited. In Australia, to deliver an accredited course the training company providing the course must be a Registered Training Organisation and have the first aid competencies on its scope of registration.

Some companies do partner with other RTO's to offer first aid at their centres. However, the first aid training certificates must be issued by the license RTO.

The challenge that many people are finding is that they have to wait three or four weeks (in some cases longer) to get their certificates. This is a real pain if you need it straight away for a job or contract.

Always ensure you ask your provider when you will get your certificate. One provider who does provide their certificates straight away is One-on-One Professional Business training. They provide First Aid Training through out Brisbane and Townsville on a regular basis.
